Recapping Paymerang’s 2023 User Conference

On May 10th, Paymerang held its second annual user conference, Innovate ’23, in Washington, D.C. clients from K-12 schools across the country gathered to network with Paymerang team members and others in their profession.

Attendees gathered to hear engaging speaking sessions from keynote speakers, including Paymerang team members, industry experts, and thought leaders.

Nasser Chanda, CEO of Paymerang, welcomed guests with a discussion about the current state of education in America and the important role that business offices play in student experiences and outcome. Paymerang is proud to partner with schools across the nation, empowering business offices to focus on issues impacting education today, like teaching staffing, navigating through a post-pandemic world, and student enrollment.

“Today’s young people will, in the coming years, be governing the world,” Chanda said. “Their thoughts and actions will be shaped by what they know and have experienced, making education, in many ways, one of the best predictors of a nation’s future success.”

Throughout the day, attendees also learned about creating a positive flow in the business office, enhancing security in their financial processes, and maximizing efficiency with AP Automation. Another highlight of the day was the Paymerang Client Panel where attendees had the chance to hear from their peers about streamlining their vendor management.

Additionally, participants went inside Paymerang’s Innovation Studio for a sneak peek at upcoming products and gave feedback that we will implement as we further develop new technology. Paymerang values customer focus and feedback, as we demonstrate through our industry-leading Net Promoter Score.

The conference concluded with a tour of D.C. on a double decker bus where participants had a dedicated tour guide to show them the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and The White House! Before dismissing, those in attendance shared how they will implement the new strategies they learned during the conference to improve their business office. They left inspired and empowered by the information they learned during these unique speaking sessions.

John spent the last three years in an outside sales role with Paymerang, managing the company’s K-12 Education and Financial Institution verticals. He has over 15 years of sales experience from companies big and small, like Ricoh, Snag, and The Brink’s Company. A highly motivated and energetic leader, John loves coaching and mentoring others, both in the office and outside on the lacrosse field.
