Paymerang Volunteers at Shalom Farms

Paymerang partnered with Shalom Farms to help provide healthy food options to Richmond communities in need. Our team spent hours on the farm cutting vines, digging through soil, and sorting sweet potatoes for distribution.

Through this work, our team embodied our core values: integrity –our ethical standards led us to provide good beyond our business operations; passion and positivity – the excitement to support our local community was palpable by the team; and teamwork – we could not have harvested hundreds of pounds of sweet potatoes alone! We are excited to continue to embody our values through service with another volunteer adventure soon.

Shalom Farms is a local non-profit that operates two small farms to grow and supply food for Richmond area communities in USDA Food Desserts.
