Paymerang Earns 2022 Great Place to Work Certification

Paymerang is thrilled to be Certified™ by Great Place to Work for the first time in company history. The prestigious award is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at Paymerang.

Great Place to Work® is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and the leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue, employee retention, and increased innovation.

This year, 96% of Paymerang employees said it’s a great place to work—compared to 57% of employees at a typical U.S.-based company. Based on employee comments from the Great Place to Work Trust Index™, the top two reasons employees love working at Paymerang are “people” and “culture.”

“We lead with a people-first mentality, and I’m pleased that this is resonating through our culture,” said Gloria Garber, VP of People and Culture at Paymerang. “Paymerang has a unique energy that is obvious when you step foot in our office. We have a community of smart and supportive people who are solution-focused and can overcome any challenge collectively. We work with passion and positivity; if you’re having a tough day, there is someone here to pick you up.”

Since 2018, Paymerang has grown from 27 to 225 employees while expanding company operations, new product development, sales, and marketing. This year so far, the company has promoted 28 team members and 50 people in 2021. Garber credits Paymerang’s strong culture in helping attract talent through an unusual labor market.

“Paymerang is a place where you can grow your career and gain exposure to interesting projects, helping to build on your skills and competencies,” Garber said. “As our business expands, we are regularly adding new roles and opportunities, and we frequently promote from within.”

Paymerang also believes in a swift recruitment process and ensures each candidate is given individual attention that lets interviewers get to know them beyond what is on their resume. Consequently, many of Paymerang’s employees come from unique backgrounds and industries.

“Great Place to Work Certification™ isn’t something that comes easily – it takes ongoing dedication to the employee experience,” said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, Vice President of Global Recognition at Great Place to Work. “It’s the only official recognition determined by employees’ real-time reports of their company culture. Earning this designation means that Paymerang is one of the best companies to work for in the country.”

According to Great Place to Work research, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss at a Certified Great Workplace. Additionally, employees at Certified workplaces are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work, and are twice as likely to be paid fairly, earn a fair share of the company’s profits, and have a fair chance at promotion.
