What’s the most interesting thing you have worked on so far?

“The most interesting thing I have worked on so far is creating the Admin app. Being able to see an application built from the ground up has been a tremendously rewarding opportunity for both my career development and personal interest.””

How would you describe the culture on the IT team?

“The culture of the IT team can be described as a diverse and welcoming culture that promotes creativity and teamwork. I describe the culture as diverse because we have a variety of cultural groups on the team which helps bring multiple perspectives to the table and makes it more interesting getting to know your co-workers. I describe the culture as welcoming because everyone on the team is so friendly and we really put an emphasis on getting new team members up to speed without overwhelming them. The culture promotes creativity by giving developers free range to come up with coding solutions, so long as they adhere to Paymerang standards. The culture promotes teamwork by having daily meetings with team members that allow developers to bounce ideas off other teammates to ensure solutions are well vetted.”

What’s your favorite thing about working for Paymerang?

“My favorite thing about working for Paymerang is being able to see the company progress over the years and know that I played a part in that progress. The things Paymerang is doing are simply exciting from increasing office space and hiring new faces, to launching new IT products and producing an influx of new customers. The sky is the limit for Paymerang, and I feel fortunate to be a part of a company with such potential.”

What’s the most interesting thing you have worked on so far?

“I’ve pretty much enjoyed everything I’ve worked on so far because it all brings a challenge that I’ll need to overcome. I would say I’ve had the most fun working on the new Admin platform.”

How would you describe the culture on the IT team?

“The IT team culture is relaxed and fun but also serious and hardworking. We have fun with our small teams (i.e.: the admin teams are named after Pokemon), but within those teams, we’re collaborating to both move tickets across the lane and to learn and grow from one another.”

What’s your favorite thing about working for Paymerang?

“My favorite thing about working for Paymerang is being a part of a team that’s transitioning legacy code to more modern code. I love the challenge that it brings, and it keeps me motivated every day.”

Mark

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve worked on so far?

“This is a tough question to answer because of how many incredible things are currently in development. For me, personally, I’ve always loved the challenge of solving complex problems for our customers through technology. The need to balance a world-class user experience with software that both provides exceptional value and is unfailingly secure is exciting and a whole lot of fun.”

How would you describe the culture on the IT team?

“Software development is a team sport. The level of collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the team is inspiring and drives each of us to be the next one with a game-changing suggestion or improvement to our process. There isn’t a day that goes by that I’m not learning something new or growing into a better developer. There is also great care taken to ensure that each one of us is seen and supported as an individual. I’m incredibly grateful to know that my personal development (and that of each of my teammates) is instrumental to the success of the team and is prioritized as such.”

What’s your favorite thing about working for Paymerang?

“Our dedication to our values. Our values set an objectively high bar for all of us, and it is inspiring to see us grow so quickly while refusing to compromise on how we treat each other and our customers. I love coming to work every day with teammates that have committed to an extraordinary model of professionalism and service to both our customers and colleagues.”

Additionally, new ideas are encouraged and valued, allowing us to constantly improve our processes.”
